Emergency crews were dispatched to a two vehicle accident in West Central Lubbock early Saturday morning.
The accident was reported in the 2100 block of Slide Road around 12:15 a.m.
Lubbock Police told EverythingLubbock.com two teenagers were transported to the hospital with injuries.
Authorities said the driver of the Fusion was traveling south on Slide Road. The driver reportedly missed her turn, made a U-turn in the roadway and then collided with the northbound El Camino.
The driver of the Fusion, identified only as a 17-year-old female, was transported to University Medical Center with minor injuries.
The driver of the El Camino, identified only as a 17-year-old male, was also transported to University Medical Center with moderate injuries.
