Type One Diabetes can sometimes leave children feeling like they are alone and cannot participate in normal summer activities, but the American Diabetes Association aims to bridge that gap with camps for kids dealing with Type One. Camp NoHiLo allows kids to enjoy Summer activities while learning new diabetes management skills. This experience allows the kids to interact with other children who are just like them.
