Whether your looking to donate your lightly used furniture, or you want to do some furniture shopping on a budget, the new Habitat for Humanity ReStore may be right for you.
The store, which is located in the Melonie Square Shopping Center at 80th and Indiana, accepts donations of new or lightly used furniture and home decor and sells it for a discounted price.
The profits made at the store are used by Habitat Humanity to fund their construction of affordable housing.
Items accepted by the ReStore include, appliances, cabinets, doors, windows, paint, lawnmowers and much more.
If you’d like to donate you need to submit some information on the Habitat for Humanity website including a description for the item and a picture of it.
