The Lubbock Alzheimer’s Association is holding their “2017 Walk to End Alzheimer’s” on October 14th at the Moonlight Musicals Amphitheater to help find a cure for Alzheimer’s disease.

Alzheimer’s is a progressive mental deterioration that causes problems with memory, thinking and behavior. Symptoms develop slowly and get worse overtime, and usually will eventually lead to death.

The family friendly event is completely free with resources on Alzheimer’s, Dementia and seniors.

You can register for the event online at alz.org/walk. If you’d like more information about the Lubbock Alzheimer’s Association, visit their website at alz.org/westtexas.
