The Epilepsy Foundation of Texas is hosting a clay shooting event on Friday, September 1st at the Lubbock Shooting Complex to help raise awareness of Epilepsy.
Epilepsy is a neurological disorder marked by sudden recurrent episodes of sensory disturbances, loss off consciousness and seizures. While you can treat epilepsy with medication, there is no known cure.
The event will begin with a free lunch from Los Tacos, and the shootout will begin shortly after. You can register as an individual for $100 or as a team of five for $450. After the shoot there will be an awards ceremony with free beer. Prizes include $100 Visa gift cards for first, second and third place.
If you’d like to register for the event you can register online at epilepsyshootout.org. If you’d like more information about the Epilepsy Foundation of Texas or would like to donate to their cause, check out their website at eftx.org.
