The folks at the KCBS Cookoff are gearing up for the big day later this week. The event will kick off August 25th and go through the 26th on the Texas Tech campus at the Animal and Food Sciences Livestock Arena.
Those who attend can expect a huge competition at the “Raider Rumble,” where four pit-barbecue experts will compete for the grand prize.
Other events include the sponsorship dinner which will have an auction and live music. Tables are still available for purchase to attend the dinner.
The cost to enter a team in the event is $275. The folks at Raider Red Meats hope to have over 80 teams competing at the event.
