The South Plains Kidney Foundation and LifeGift are working with each other to host the “First Inaugural Lubbock 2nd Chance Run” on August 5th.
The run and walk will take place at Mackenzie Park and will begin at 8 a.m. The goal of the event is to bring awareness to organ donation, organ donors, and those still waiting for a lifesaving transplant.
Transplant recipients and donors will also participate. Registration for the event is $15 for children and $30 for adults. To register visit www.secondchancerun.org.
