SLATON, Texas–For more than 87 years Margaret Edwards has lived in Slaton, but today was unlike most days. Today, she celebrated her 105th birthday with her community. With 105 balloons released into the sky, local cheerleaders cheering for her and local police officers willing to go above and beyond for her; she was honored in a big way.
