The Texas Department of Public Safety said Sergio Garcia Montes, 29, of Socorro died in an accident early Thursday morning more than 8 miles east of Mentone in Loving County.
DPS said he was driving an 18-wheeler along State Highway 302.
DPS said, “Vehicle 1 struck two bulls on the roadway and began to travel into the north barrow ditch.”
The 18-wheeler rolled over and Montes was pronounced dead at the scene. Conditions were clear and dry at the time and he was wearing a seat belt according to DPS.
