Two Arrested for Abandoning or Endangering a Child in Wichita Falls

A Wichita Falls man and woman are in the Wichita County Jail after police found three young children in their home among human waste and drugs.

24-year-old Antonio Martinez and 22-year-old Katlin Davenport were arrested on three counts of endangering or abandoning a child each.

Police say back in January, the organized crime and SWAT units executed a search warrant at 2712 Baltimore Road.

They say the house was unsanitary and there was trash and debris in every room.

Officers found Davenport and Martinez’s three children whose ages range from one year old to four years old at the residence.

The children were in close proximity  to several prescription drug bottles, drug paraphernalia and human waste.

Davenport was arrested at the hospital on Wednesday morning, and Martinez was arrested at the hospital on Tuesday.

Police say Davenport was pregnant and they had to wait until she had given birth to arrest the two.
