The mother of Dalton Debrick said on Facebook that two more people have been arrested related to his death in August of 2014.  Jail records indicated Eric Anthony Spenk, 23, was arrested Monday morning.  Canyon Reid Brock, 21, was arrested Tuesday.

Spenk posted bond to be released.  Brock was still in the Lubbock County Detention Center early Tuesday afternoon.

Both were charged with furnishing alcohol to a minor, which is a misdemeanor charge.  Reece Walker had previously been arrested on the same charge and he is out of jail on bond pending his ongoing criminal case.

Debbie Debrick posted on Facebook Tuesday, “Two more arrests made in Lubbock on campus for Dalton Debrick’s case!! ‪#‎justicefordalton‬.”

Debrick was found dead in the 3600 block of 36th Street the morning after an Alpha Sigma Phi event.  The national chapter deactivated the fraternity’s Texas Tech organization.

In early 2015, Walker was expelled from Texas Tech but sued for the right to come back to campus.  Walker was later reinstated.

Walker admitted to providing ice and chips for a fraternity event but not alcohol.

Both Spenk and Brock were accused in arrest warrants of criminal negligence and “not providing adequate medical care.”  The two are accused of making alcohol available, “namely, beer and liquor, to Dalton Debrick, a person who was less than 21 years of page.”

Spenk and Brock are accused of “throwing a party involving said alcoholic beverages where minors would be in attendance.”
