Two people were injured, along with a dog, following an altercation Monday in Ector County.
Officials with the Ector County Sheriff’s Office say they were called to a home in the 6100 block of El Paso around noon Monday about an assault.
During the investigation, deputies learned that two people had gotten into an altercation.
Both reportedly received stab wounds as a result of the altercation.
However, ECSO officials also say a dog was stabbed as well.
The people involved were both transported to Medical Center Hospital with non-life threatening injuries and the dog was taken to an animal hospital by a neighbor, officials say.
Both refused to pursue criminal charges on the other and officials say the dog is expected to make a full recovery.
