This morning, Tuesday, June 07, 2016 at approximately 1:31 a.m. patrol officers responded to a report of a disturbance with two people having been shot in an apartment in the 4800 block of Canton Ave.
Officers arrived and located a male and female suffering from gunshot wounds. The male half was shot in the back and the female in the hand. They were both take to UMC by EMS. The male victim, Geory Smith – 40 had life threatening injuries.
Detectives were called to the scene and are investigating. No arrest have been made.
