One person was killed and two others was seriously injured following a two vehicle accident in Taylor County Saturday morning.

The accident occurred on U.S. Highway 277, approximately 20 miles south of Abilene, around 9:00 a.m.

Authorities said the driver of a northbound pickup truck lost control in the rain and crashed into a southbound passenger car.

Austin Riley McCombs, 20, of San Angelo, was pronounced dead at the accident scene. Joseph Shane Bradley, 41, of San Angelo, suffered serious incapacitating injuries and was taken to Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene. McCombs was identified as the driver of the car and Bradley was a passenger.

William Allen Adamson, 42, of San Angelo, also suffered serious incapacitating injuries and was taken to Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene. Adamson was identified as the driver of the pickup.

The DPS report stated all the accident victims were wearing seat belts.
