Emergency crews were dispatched to a two vehicle accident involving a motorcycle just south of Lubbock early Sunday afternoon.
The accident was reported at 146th Street (County Road 7500) and Slide Road (FM 1730), approximately one mile north of the Woodrow Road intersection, around 1:40 p.m.
The Texas Department of Public Safety told EverythingLubbock.com the motorcycle was following a GMC Yukon on the roadway. The Yukon slowed down to turn onto County Road 7500. The motorcycle then slide underneath the rear end of the Yukon.
The driver of the motorcycle was transported by AeroCare to University Medical Center with incapacitation injuries.
The occupant in vehicle was not injured.
The name of the motorcycle driver has not yet been released by the DPS.
