Update:

The Texas Department of Public Safety and the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office reported Saturday afternoon that 14-month-old Kalia Martinez has been located in Dallas. An Amber Alert was issued for Martinez early Saturday morning out of San Antonio. Martinez was last seen on September 28.

WFAA-TV in Dallas reported the suspect, Fortino Cornejo, fled from authorities after he was located with the child. Authorities are still attempting to locate and capture Cornejo. 

The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said that a warrant for Sexual Exploitation of a Child was issued for Cornejo after he allegedly sent a photo of the child that indicated that she may have been sexually assaulted.

An Amber Alert was issued early Saturday morning for a 14-month-old girl abducted from San Antonio.

Kalia Martinez was last seen on Wednesday, September 28. She is described 1’6″ tall and weighs about 30 pounds. She has brown hair and hazel eyes.

Authorities believe the child was abducted by Fortino Cornejo. Cornejo is 50-years-old, 5″3″ tall and weighs about 140 pounds. He has black hair and hazel eyes.

Cornejo is believed to be driving a black 2010 Dodge Nitro with Texas license place HDD 0725.
