The City of Tahoka reported Tuesday afternoon the boil water notice that has been in place since Sunday has now been lifted.
Laboratory results on water samples show the water supply in the city is safe to drink.
Two water mains broke back on Sunday forcing crews to turn off the water while repairs were being conducted.
Residents were asked to boil their water once repairs were completed and service was restored.
