The Lubbock Police Department reported Monday afternoon the forgery suspect has been identified thanks to an online tip.

The Lubbock Police Department is asking the public for assistance to locate a check forgery suspect.
Police said suspect attempted to use a forge check to make a purchase at Drug Emporium, located at 5100 block of 82nd Street, back on November 25th around 4:00 p.m.
Authorities said this case is possibly related to a vehicle burglary that occurred on November 23 in the 4000 block of 38th Street. Personal items were stolen from the vehicle.
The attempted crime may also be related to another forgery case from November 21.
