New Mexico State Police reported Sunday afternoon the Silver Alert issued for Jesus Garcia, Sr. has been canceled.
Authorities reported Mr. Garcia was located earlier today.
The Silver Alert was issued by the Lovington Police Department after Mr. Garcia was last seen early Saturday evening near the hospital in Lovington.

The Lovington Police Department is asking the public’s assistance in locating Jesus Garcia, Sr., a Hispanic male, sixty-three years old, five feet six inches tall, one hundred seventy pounds, with gray hair, brown eyes, and a white mustache. Jesus Garcia, Sr. was last seen wearing blue jeans, a gray sweater, and a gray leather jacket. Jesus Garcia, Sr. was last seen around 6:00 p.m. on December 10, 2016 near the Nor-Lea hospital in Lovington, NM and is believed to be in DANGER if not located.
Anyone with any information regarding this New Mexico Silver Alert is asked to call the Lovington Police Department or 911.
