The deceased from yesterday’s fatal hit and run crash is Sonia Loera – 44.
Three other victims also suffered minor injuries.

This morning, Sunday, September 25, 2016 at approximately 2:34 a.m., patrol officers responded to a report of a hit and run crash with serious injuries at Club Pink, 510 N. University Ave. The driver of a stolen, red GMC Sierra pickup was traveling westbound on Erskine Street when it left the roadway and collided with a vehicle parked on the side of the road. The victim was standing in front of the vehicle that was struck. The parked vehicle struck the victim. She was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.
The driver of the stolen pickup fled the scene on foot and made no attempt to render aid. The suspect was not located.
