Several Lubbock County volunteer fire departments were called to the scene of a house fire Saturday morning in Northeastern Lubbock County.
The fire was reported in the 6100 block of East County Road 6450 around 9:00 a.m.
Crews from the Roosevelt, Idalou and Buffalo Springs Volunteer Fire Department responded and battled the fire.
The Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the scene.
An EverythingLubbock.com photojournalist spoke with the homeowner who informed him everyone made it out of the home safely, including the pets.
The home is described as a total loss.
The Red Cross was called to the scene to assist the family.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
