The Boys and Girls Club of Lubbock issued a written statement inviting volunteers to come forward for a an event August 17. The full text of the statement is copied below:
Our Kohl’s Shopping Spree will be on August 17th. Lubbock Boys & Girls Club will take 70 members from our four Clubs in the Lubbock area. They will each need a helper to assist them in shopping for the clothes on their list. Call 792-2880 or email jlackey@lubbockbgc.org to sign up to volunteer. These 70 kids get to spend $100 on school clothes at Kohl’s.We will meet at 7:40am at Kohl’s at 3307 98th.
