David Dee Lefler, 49, was booked Friday into the McLennan County jail on robbery charges after a woman was knocked unconscious in an argument over money.
Waco police spokesman Patrick Swanton said the incident occurred Thursday in the 5100 block of Sanger Avenue.
The victim and Lefler had been arguing over money when the victim was hit twice in the head. Police said, when the woman regained consciousness the money was gone.
Lefler was also named in another assault case and was held in lieu of $80,000 bond.
