Beginning Thursday, March 31, the City of Lubbock with Utility Contractors of America will begin excavation for joint welding on a large diameter potable water line on 66th Street near Southeast Loop 289.
This project will divert traffic to Martin Luther King Drive and Southeast Loop 289. Drivers are encouraged to avoid the construction if possible and to use extreme caution while driving in the construction.
