Water pipeline maintenance crews continue to work diligently to repair a broken water main near 36th Street and University Avenue. Northbound traffic on University Avenue is being diverted at 38th Street.
The detour or lane restrictions are expected to be in place tomorrow morning, Friday, December 16th. Drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes and use caution if driving in the work zone.
The water main break occurred around 4:00 p.m. Thursday, December 15th. Customers in the immediate area have been notified that their water service may be interrupted. Crews will continue to work through the night to complete the needed repairs.
