The Westwinds Brass Band, under the direction of Phil Anthony, will present their second “Concert In The Park” on Sunday, June 12th, at 8:00 PM at the Gazebo in Wagner Park, 26th and Flint.
This will be a unique concert of German marches, polkas, and waltzes. The audience will get the opportunity to “participate” in the concert with the “Chicken Dance.” Each week a “kid’s march” takes place, featuring kids of all ages, led by the “honorary” drummajor of the evening.
Bring your lawn chairs and blankets, and enjoy an hour of traditional brass band music presented by the musicians of the band.
Admission is free and is sponsored by the Tech Terrace Neighborhood Association and the City of Lubbock Parks and Recreation Department.
