The Westwinds Brass Band, under the direction of Phil Anthony, will present their fourth “Concert In The Park” on Sunday, June 26th, at 8:00 PM at the Gazebo in Wagner Park, 26th and Flint.
Featured on the concert will be flugelhorn soloist, Bill Nelson, performing “I’ve Got You Under My Skin,” and trombone soloist, Mark Surface, performing “All The Things You Are.”
In addition, the band will play numerous marches, popular tunes, and patriotic music. Each week a “kid’s march” takes place, featuring kids of all ages, led by the “honorary” drummajor of the evening..
Bring your lawn chairs and blankets, and enjoy an hour of traditional brass band music presented by the musicians of the band.
Admission is free and is sponsored by the Tech Terrace Neighborhood Association and the City of Lubbock Parks and Recreation Department.
