The Snyder Volunteer Fire Department announced on Tuesday that a Lubbock firefighter donated the money to replace gear which was reported stolen on Monday.
The VFD said on Monday someone stopped and stole $1,800 worth of gear from a volunteer firefighter’s pickup. The report made news in Lubbock including EverythingLubbock.com
On Tuesday the VFD said, “Today, a Lubbock firefighter personally traveled to Snyder and handed our volunteer a personal donation sufficient to replace his turnout gear.”

The Snyder VFD asked that people share its most recent Facebook post so that people “will see the generosity of this brother firefighter and know the bond and appreciation we share in the fire service.”
