The Wichita Falls Police Department said a 23-year-old is in stable condition after a Sunday morning shooting in the 4700 block of Raylett Drive.
Police received a 911 call about a shooting just before 4 a.m.
The suspect, a white male in his early 20s, shot the 23-year-old male in the upper torso area, according to police. The male suspect was on scene when they arrived and police recovered the hand gun.
As of late Sunday morning, the victim remains in stable condition and the suspect is detained. Police were waiting for a warrant to be signed. The charges are expected to be Aggravated Assault. Police believe the suspect and victim knew one another and there were several people on scene when they arrived.
