The Reagor Dykes Auto Group has agreed to be the title sponsor for Make-A-Wish’s annual fundraising gala, Waltzing for Wishes. The Lubbock-based company has been the event’s top sponsor for the last three years.
“I think that’s one of the things about our company is we somehow attract people to work for us that are in our community and that like to be involved in different things and we definitely like to be involved in Make-A-Wish for sure,” co-owner Bart Reagor said.
Waltzing for Wishes will be held on April 23rd, 2016 at the Overton Hotel and Conference Center in Lubbock. The 10th annual gala will feature local “celebrity” dancers who are matched with professional dance partners and provided lessons in the months leading up to the event. This year, Reagor’s son has been selected to dance during the big night.
“I love my kids, I have three kids, and we’ve been blessed with great health in my family and to see those families going through that, I mean I was just compelled to try to do what we could to help,” Reagor explained. “When you get a chance to make young kids happy and their family’s happy, that are going through a tough time, I don’t think there’s anything better than that.”
