Wolfforth Police are investigating the armed robbery of a local convenience store Sunday afternoon.
The incident occurred at the Rip Griffin Travel Center (Valero) located in the 700 block of North Dowden Road around 3:30 p.m.
Wolfforth Police told EverythingLubbock.com a masked individual walked in, pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded all the money in the register.
The suspect left the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash on a black colored motorcycle, possibly a Harley Davidson.
Wolfforth Police described the suspect as a white or Hispanic male, medium build, with either short dark brown or black hair. The suspect was wearing a blue colored t-shirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes. Police said the t-shirt had writing that stated “Tickle My Pickle” on it.
