Paula Lynn Monceaux, 46, of Wolfforth was arrested Saturday and charged with attempted murder after a standoff late Saturday morning in the 400 block of 3rd Street in Wolfforth.
Police Chief Rick Scott said officers were called out for a shots fired call. He said officers encountered more than one person running away from the house.
“They advised they were shot at through the door,” Scott said. Scott said the shooting resulted in minor injuries.
Once a Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team arrived, there was no more violence Scott said. About two hours after the initial call, Monceaux surrendered.
