A Lubbock woman has been arrested in connection to a Central Lubbock house fire Friday afternoon.
The fire was reported around 3:20 p.m. in the 2600 block of Avenue L.
Crews arrived on the scene to find a working structure fire. Firefighters had fire under control in approximately 20 minutes.
The home sustained moderate fire and smoke damage throughout the structure. No injuries were reported by one person was displaced by the fire.
The Fire Marshall’s Office was called to the scene and later determined the cause of the fire to be incendiary.
A post on the Lubbock Fire Department Facebook page identified the suspect arrested as Bianca Castillo, 20. Lubbock County Detention Center records, however, identified the suspect as Bianca Zuniga.
The suspect is charged with one count of arson, a first degree felony.
