A Wichita Falls man is out on bond after police arrested him following a fight with his girlfriend. She told investigators that she bit his ear to stop him from beating her daughter.
Police arrested 35-year-old Stephen Turk for injury to a child. Officials went to the 2600 block of Avenue J around 10:30 Thursday night for a call about an assault.
That’s where a young girl told police that Turk had hit her in the face several times. The girl’s mother then told authorities that she was afraid for her daughter’s life, so she bit Turk on the ear.
He then ran away, according to police.
Investigators found him down the street at the intersection of Grant and Avenue J.
