Odessa Police have arrested a woman and charged her with theft from a human corpse, according to a release from the department.
Police arrested Kalynn Homfeld around 1:30 p.m.
Officers were originally called out to Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home about a theft.
After looking at surveillance footage that has now gone viral, officers determined Homfeld had taken a ring off of a deceased persons hand and fled the scene, according to the release.
