In the third round, Jerry Jones and company took a gamble on a player who is currently under investigation for domestic violence.

The Cowboys selected talented cornerback Jourdan Lewis of Michigan. The two-time All-American had six interceptions and 45 pass breakups in his four-year career in Ann Arbor.

He joins teammate and Dallas’ first round draft pick DE Taco Charlton.

Lewis is accused of assaulting his former girlfriend on March 15, 2017. He pleaded not guilty the following day. He is scheduled to appear in court on July 10.
