The Dallas Cowboys have chosen Maliek Collins, a defensive tackle from Nebraska, in Round 3 of the 2016 NFL Draft.

He’s the 67th pick overall.

Collins is a former high school wrester who could fit well into the Dallas defense.

In a phone call to Dallas Cowboys Draft Show, Collins said it’s an honor to be a Cowboy.

“This is where I wanted to go,” he said. “This is truly a blessing.”

Collins said this is big for his entire family as well, including his young son.

“It means a lot for my family,” he said. “I lost my father when I was six years old, so to be able to support my son and his future, it means a lot.”
