How will new Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliot fare in Texas?
Cowboys RB Coach Gary Brown says he’s been a fan of Elliott since they first met.
“He was professional, he was ready to roll,” Brown said in a phone call to the Dallas Cowboys Draft Show radio program Thursday night. “He’s just a great guy.”
Brown says Dallas has a lot of solid athletes in the RB spot, and Elliott will only improve their attack.
“I knew this was the type of guy I wanted in my room,” he said. “The room becomes better with Zeke. It’s strong, but it will become stronger.”
Elliot was on the call as well.
He told the Draft Show hosts he’s excited as well.
“I’m proud to be a Cowboy,” he said. “You know I’m ready.”
