The first round isn’t everything when it comes to the Dallas Cowboys striking gold in the NFL Draft.
Six of their 13 Hall of Fame athletes are from rounds 2 through 10.
Here is a list of the athletes who beat out their career projections and will forever be enshrined in Canton.
Larry Allen (2nd Round)
Mel Renfro (2nd Round)
Charley Haley (49ers – 4th Round)
Bob Hayes (7th Round)
Rayfield Wright (7th Round)
Roger Staubach (10th Round)
The Cowboys have had more than 50 first round picks, and less than half have been named to the pro bowl at least once.
The first round will be held on Thursday, April 28 at 7 p.m. CT.
