Cowboys tight end Blake Jarwin said he likes it when people have to call him by his number instead of his name, because it just makes him work all the harder to get noticed.

In the Cowboys win over the New York Giants, Jarwin had seven catches for 119 yards and three touchdowns.  Jarwin was named the NFC’s offensive player of the week, and he earned the Cowboy’s Player of the Game award.

“It sets a great accomplishment for me, but I’ve got a lot more goals inside of me that I want to reach,” Jarwin told reporters Wednesday in Frisco.

“I kind of like it when they call me 89. It puts a little chip on my shoulder,” Jarwin said.  “It makes me keep working hard.”

The Cowboys play the Seattle Seahawks on Saturday (7:15 CST) in Arlington in post season play. The game will be televised on Fox.
