A former basketball player, Adams is tall for a tight end, but he hopes an NFL team will capitalize on his skills.
In 2015, Adams was South Carolina’s second-leading receiver, totaling 28 receptions and three touchdown carries.
NFL scouts say he can be a bit stiff and inflexible, though.
One of his strong points, however, is in the locker room. He gets high marks for likability among his peers.
Adams will likely be picked up in Rounds 3 or 4.
