Texas Tech Lady Raider Basketball suffered its first home loss of the season in a 77-57 loss to No. 12 Texas on Saturday evening.

The Lady Raiders (11-7, 3-4 Big 12) kept it close for most of the first half, but the Longhorns (14-4, 8-0 Big 12) opened the gap with a 17-6 run to start the third quarter and hold on to a 20-point lead.

Texas Tech held the Longhorns to 3-for-11 from beyond the arc while shooting 46.7 percent (7-15).

Two Lady Raiders scored in double figures for the 16th time this season. Junior Jada Terry led the team with 15 points and six rebounds. Junior Dayo Olabode followed with 10 points of her own, shooting 3-for-4 from beyond the arc.

Freshman Grayson Bright went 2-for-2 from beyond the arc, tying her season-best two made 3-pointers. Sophomore Zuri Sanders recorded a team-leading seven rebounds and two assists in just 14 minutes of play.
