In the Bi-district round Abernathy and Sundown traveled to Lubbock, but only one would leave still alive in the playoffs.
After Sundown’s win Abernathy needed the win today to stay alive. Abernathy did just that defeating Sundown 12-2; a much different game that yesterday’s pitcher duel.
