Amarillo traveled to Lubbock for a game facing Cooper. Second day at home hosting for Cooper, trying to get two back to back wins at home.
Sandies take an early 4-3 lead over the Pirates, but pitcher Trey Garlett helps out picking up a few timely strikeouts. It wouldn’t be enough though as Amarillo took down Cooper 5-3. The final run scored by Caleb Flores off a Trevor Andrus sacrifice fly.
Cooper plays Plainview April 26th at the Bulldog’s house.
