Monterey looking to get past Amarillo on their way to the post season.
Monterey starts the ball game out on top, but the Sandies quickly catch up tying the score. Monterey falls behind as the Sandies take a lead, but a Russel Harrison shot would bring the Plainsmen back within two. Monterey keeps it close, but goes down to the Sandies 52-47.
Monterey goes on to play Tascosa February 9th in Amarillo.
