LUBBOCK, Tex. — Hundreds of Red Raider fans packed the parking lot outside of the United Supermarkets Arena early Wednesday morning to give the Texas Tech basketball team a Final Four sized send-off.

You can check out the sights and sounds from the event in the video player above.

Texas Tech has gotten to its first Final Four with contrasting guards: Jarrett Culver and Matt Mooney.

Culver is the sophomore standout who stayed home to play after Chris Beard became coach of the Red Raiders. Mooney is a graduate transfer from South Dakota who filled a huge void at point guard after Tech’s previous best season.

Texas Tech plays the late game Saturday against Michigan State.  That will follow Auburn and Virginia in the early game.
