Former Texas Tech Quarterback Billy Joe Tolliver was in attendance at Thursday’s memorial service for Spike Dykes. Tolliver’s perspective on Dykes was unique in that he was not recruited by Dykes, and didn’t play under him as a head coach until 1986. But Coach Dykes advice to Tolliver made an impact none-the-less.
