Bradley Adkins Falls Short In Rio, But Bows Out With Impressive Showing

He put on quite a show, but former Idalou Wildcat Bradley Adkins failed to qualify for the finals in the high jump down in Rio.

Adkins cleared the bar at the first three heights but met his match at 7 foot 6 inches, he placed 21st in the overall competition and cleared a personal record at 2.26m/7-5.

The former Red Raider became the first Texas Tech high jumper to compete in the Olympics, and Adkins didn’t go down without a fight.
