In District 3-3A, the 14th ranked Idalou Lady Wildcats and Brownfield Lady Cubs met to determine playoff seeding after becoming Co-District Champions.
The ‘Cats came out swinging from the get-go, finishing the first quarter ahead 14-3 while holding the Lady Cubs to only free throws in the same frame.
Brownfield finally got some offense going in the second quarter but would still trail 28-12 at the break but Idalou never let up. They claimed the victory, 60-42 to become the one seed for the postseason.
