The LCU baseball team had a double header Saturday when they faced New Mexico Highlands State.
The Chaps didn’t take long to warm up, as they started the first with 8 runs. A few of those run being hit in with two outs. Hunter McFall grabbed two RBIs on a single in the right field gap. The game slowed down after that, with two more runs trickling in for the Chaps and one for NMHU. The Chaps took down NMHU in the first game 10-1. The second game was a little more exciting, the Chaps took that game too, 8-6 sweeping NMHU.
The LCU Chaps get back to action Friday with a series against Angelo State.
